Two members of The Legal Aid Society's Senior Staff, Bharati Narumanchi, Director of Recruitment, and Femi Disu-Oakley, Director of Diversity and Inclusion, participated in PALS's (Practicing Attorney’s for Law Students Program) annual Mock Interview and Resume Workshop for Law Students of Color. The full-day workshop, sponsored by Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and held on July 24, kicked off with a Hiring, Resume and Interviewing Skills Panel.

Bharati Narumanchi was a panelist and spoke to students about the key factors the Society looks and listens for during the selection and interviewing process. Femi Disu-Oakley also participated in the workshop during the mock interviews sessions. During the sessions, students received critical feedback from practicing attorneys on their interviewing skills and resumes.

The workshop was designed to help law students of color prepare for the fall recruiting season.
