The Legal Aid Society Continues to Serve Clients in Manhattan Criminal and Family Courts; Staff Evacuated from Thomas and Worth Streets Due to Crane Collapse and Offices Closed

Legal Aid Criminal Defense and Juvenile Rights lawyers are representing clients in Manhattan Criminal and Family Courts today. Legal Aid offices at 49 Thomas and 40 Worth Street were closed and staff evacuated after the crane collapse this morning. Members of the Manhattan Criminal staff were moved to our offices in the Manhattan Criminal Court Building at 100 Centre Street and members of the Manhattan Juvenile Rights staff were moved to our offices in the Manhattan Family Court Building at 60 Lafayette Street.
