The Scope of Violence Against Women and How to End it

The Legal Aid Society's New Leadership Program Board is presenting a panel discussion on "The Scope of Violence Against Women and How to End it" on February 14 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at The Legal Aid Society's headquarters at 199 Water Street. Panelists include Tiloma Jayasinghe, executive director of Sakhi; Dori Lewis, supervising attorney in the Society's Prisoners' Rights Project; Kate Mogulescu, staff attorney in the Society's Traffickig Victims Legal Defense & Advocacy Project; and Laura Russell, supervising attorney in the Society's Domestic Violence Unit. The moderator is Svetlana Eisenberg of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, who is chair of the New Leadership Program Board.
