The Servant of Justice award was presented to Mr. Kaden by Alan Levine, Chairman of the Society, and John R. Ettinger, Managing Partner of Davis Polk. Also participating in the program were Theodore A. Levine, the President, and Steven Banks, the Attorney-in-Chief. Consuelo Mack, anchor and managing editor of Consuelo Mack WealthTrack, served as the master of ceremonies. A video on the work of the Society and the clients served by the Civil Practice was shown. The dinner raised more than $1 million to asssist the Civil Practice in serving the most vulnerable New Yorkers including senior citizens, survivors of domestic violence, disabled children and adults, homeless and imminently homeless children and adults, low income workers, immigrants, and persons living HIV/AIDS.
