The Legal Aid Society Receives A Special Grant From The New York Bar Foundation For A New Civil Practice Initiative

Susan B. Lindenauer (far right), a member of the New York Bar Foundation Board and former General Counsel of The Legal Aid Society, presented a check for $5,000 to the Society's Civil Practice from the New York Bar Foundation for the Government Benefits Training Initiative. The funding comes from The MacCrate Fund to Preserve the Core Values of the Legal Profession. With Ms. Lindenauer are Kenneth Stephens, Supervising Attorney in the Civil Practice's Law Reform Unit; Liliana Vaamonde, Director of Training for the Civil Practice; and Adriene Holder, Attorney-in-Charge of the Civil Practice.
