Legal Aid's Recruitment Efforts At The Lavender Law Reception and Conference Were Highly Successful, Thanks To The Combined Efforts of LGBTQ Caucus of ALAA, Management and Skadden Arps

Members of the LGBTQ Caucus of ALAA join Council Member Carlos Menchaca at the Lavender Law reception which was co-organized and co-sponsored by the LGBTQ Caucus, The Legal Aid Society, and the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. The Legal Aid Society's participation in this year Lavender Law reception and conference were highly successful due to the combined efforts of the LGBTQ Caucus of ALAA, management, and the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

A reception at the Bar American was co-sponsored by the LGBTQ Caucus of ALAA, the Society, and Skadden Arps.

During the conference, Legal Aid staff members, including LGBTQ Caucus members, met with law students who came from schools throughout the country.
