Legal Aid Participates in National Black Law Student Association Convention

The Legal Aid Society was a sponsor of the Northeast Region of the National Black Law Student Association (NEBLSA) 48th Annual Convention, held January 27 to January 31, 2016, in the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, in Elizabeth, NJ.

Nine members of the Attorneys of Color Caucus at Legal Aid (ACLA) and the Recruitment Office provided information to students about The Legal Aid Society during the Convention’s Job Fair and served as judges in the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition and the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.
