Legal Aid Issues Request For Proposals To Provide Anti-Bias Training

The Legal Aid Society has issued a Request for Proposals to provide anti-bias training, with a particular emphasis on anti-racism and anti-oppression, for the Society’s workforce of 1,900 managers and staff in all five boroughs beginning during 2014.

The goal of the training is to enhance the Society’s capacity, for the benefit of both clients and staff, to be a culturally competent and inclusive organization, which has a diverse workforce that does not tolerate bias or oppression in any form. A copy of the Request for Proposals can be found here. The due date for submissions of proposals is March 24, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
