In Courts, In Communities - We Remain Steadfast For Justice
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2016

We don't know what the future holds, but with your help we can try to mold the future.

We just experienced a long, historic presidential campaign. Sadly, the campaign included attacks on our clients and the outcome was not what many of us had hoped for or expected. We see that our nation is divided. Understandably our client community is scared.

For 140 years The Legal Aid Society has stood and fought for low-income New Yorkers - immigrants, children, people with disabilities, and the elderly to access immigration services, economic justice, health care, housing, education, worker and prisoners’ rights. Our work for some 2 million people through more than 300, 000 individual cases a year and a large law reform docket makes us the largest public interest law firm in the country.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, can make a huge difference. Won't you please stand with us? We hope so. Together let's bridge the divisions among us.
