Happy Faces, Laughter, and Holiday Cheer, Thanks For Caring
Having a great meeting with Santa Claus are (from left) standing, Jill Temkin; Seymour W. James, Jr., Attorney-in-Chief; and Jeremy Tempkin, a Director and a Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP; and seated Aaron Johnson, 3; Briana Washington, 8; and Isaiah Fisher, 10.

The Legal Aid Society's 35th annual Holiday Party for Homeless and Other Vulnerable Children was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of the Board of Directors and the law firms and corporations they represent. The 500 children and their families had a great time, filled with laughter, wonderful presents, food, and the joy of the holiday season.

Special thanks to the following firms and corporations whose outstanding donations of toys, books, games, funds, and volunteers made it possible for the children and their families to enjoy the happiness of the holiday season: Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP; Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP; Freshfields, Bruckhas Deringer; Hughes, Hubbard & Reed LLP; Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP; Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason & Anello PC; Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP; Sullivan & Cromwell LLP; Travelers; Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz; and Winston & Strawn. Thanks to Terri and Richard Kim for donating the hundreds of items for the crafts table. Javier Chuck was a tremendous Santa Claus. Photographs of the children and the wonderful volunteers, many of whom worked all day getting ready for the party, are on the Society's website and on flickr. You can see the happy faces and know you are responsible. Thank you for caring.
