Christopher Pisciotta Appointed Senior Supervising Attorney of new Staten Island Criminal Defense Office

Christopher Pisciotta, an experienced criminal lawyer and supervisor, has been named the Senior Supervising Attorney of The Legal Aid Society's new Staten Island Criminal Defense Office which is scheduled to open April 4. The announcement was made by Seymour James, Attorney-in-Charge of the Criminal Practice.

He will have overall responsibility for the operation of our Richmond County criminal defense practice and work with the Civil and Juvenile office heads to enhance our provision of comprehensive services to clients. Chris has been a supervising attorney in New York County Criminal Defense Office since 2005. He has been an active participant in criminal defense training both centrally and in the New York County office where he co-chaired the training program for the full time externs and was an integral member of the faculty for the local felony training of staff attorneys. Most recently, Chris has done an exceptional job coordinating the testing and roll out of Law Manager for the Criminal Practice. Chris has also served as an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School and Seton Hall University Law School.
