Cardozo Law School Honors Legal Aid Alums

As part of its annual INSPIRE awards, the Cardozo Law School focused on public defense and honored Legal Aid staff who are graduates of the law school. Many Society staff members attended and received certificates of recognition. In his opening remarks at the event, Cardozo Law School Dean Matthew Diller, a former Legal Aid staff attorney, spoke about the central leadership role that The Legal Aid Society plays in providing public defense and comprehensive legal services and the importance of the partnership between the Law School and the Society.
