Legal Aid's Books for Kids and Brooklyn Barnes & Noble Team Up To Provide Books For Children In The Family Court System
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2012

Books for Kids, an innovative project of The Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Practice designed to promote literacy for children involved in Family Court cases in New York City, has teamed with the Brooklyn Barnes & Noble store on Court Street for a special holiday book drive. Books for Kids provides some of New York’s most vulnerable children with opportunities to read and own their own books.

You can purchase a book for one of these children during the Barnes & Noble store’s Holiday Book Drive to support Books for Kids. The store is located at 106 Court Street, Brooklyn. On Saturday, December 1, at 2 p.m. JRP staff will hold a Storytime at the store.
