Associates Raise Funds for Legal Aid Civil Practice

The 2008 Associates' Campaign celebrated the completion of a successful effort with a fun-filled evening at the Boat Basin. Speaking with Steven Banks, the Attorney-in-Chief are Shannon Lazzarini (left), an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP; Alyssa A. Rower, currently an associate at Sheresky Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan LLP; and Wendy Knobel, an associate at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP. Ms. Rower, who chaired the campaign, is a former associate at Milbank Tweed.

The 2008 Associates' Campaign was a huge success with associates raising more than $370,000 to benefit the Society's Civil Practice.

Funds raised through the Associates’ Campaign support the work of The Legal Aid Society’s Civil Practice, which provides legal representation to the most vulnerable New Yorkers, including senior citizens, survivors of domestic violence, homeless families with children, imminently homeless families, disabled children and adults, immigrants, low income wage earners and persons living with AIDS/HIV.
