Joshua Harris

Joshua Harris (49) – Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Apollo Global Management, LLC. Prior to joining Apollo in 1990, Mr. Harris was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated.

Mr. Harris currently serves on the boards of directors of Apollo Global Management, LLC, and Berry Plastics Group. He is a member of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York Investors Advisory Committee on Financial Markets, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Harris serves as Chairman of the Department of Medicine Advisory Board for The Mount Sinai Medical Center and is a member of The Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Board of Trustees.

Mr. Harris is on the Board of Trustees for the United States Olympic Committee, and is the Managing Partner of the Philadelphia 76ers and Managing Member of the New Jersey Devils.

He graduated summa cum laude and Beta Gamma Sigma from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker and Loeb Scholar. He currently serves as a member of The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Undergraduate Executive Board and is on the Board of Trustees for The Allen-Stevenson School and Harvard.
