Throughout the course of its 135 year history, The Legal Aid Society has received extraordinary support from law firms—support that continues to be a vital component of what we do and how we fund our civil legal assistance program.

These law firms, all with a strong New York presence, contribute in a number of different ways:

  • monetarily, in support of our civil legal work;
  • through extensive pro bono work, in partnership with Legal Aid attorneys and paralegals;
  • by partnering with Legal Aid on law reform advocacy on behalf of clients;
  • by sponsoring and attending Legal Aid events.

We are grateful for this dedicated support and continue to depend on it to reach as many low income New Yorkers in need of legal assistance as possible.
