A ONE-WEEK TRIAL PRACTICE TRAINING FOR NEW YORK DEFENSE LAWYERS
- OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER -

Tuition: $800 for public defenders and members of the assigned counsel panel. $1600 for private attorneys.

To Apply: Fill out the application and email it to: TheMurph@legal-aid.org. The course is aimed at lawyers with 1 to 3 years of criminal defense experience, or lawyers who practice in other fields of law and are considering criminal defense work. Financial aid is available.

The program is dedicated to the memory of Dennis R. Murphy (1948-2017), who spent his life as a fearless defender and who created the Legal Aid Society Trial Advocacy Program more than a decade ago.
