The Criminal Practice takes great pride in the quality of its Administrative and Support Staff who provide significant support for the work of the lawyers.
The Criminal Practice embraces a team approach to client representation that requires all lawyers to work collaboratively with social workers, investigators, paralegals and support staff to deliver comprehensive services to criminal defense clients.
To facilitate a cohesive team, social workers, investigators, paralegals and support staff are deployed to work in each office, under the leadership of Aida Ramos-Herrara, Director of Administration. Each Criminal Practice county office has a borough administrator who supervises complex administrators. Complex administrators assist in the administrative operations of the complex and supervise support staff.
Attorney requests for client support services will be enhanced as a result of the implementation of the Society’s new case management system which allows for electronic transmission of case-specific referrals from lawyers to other Society professional staff, along with the tracking of referrals and services provided.
