The MIS Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the MIS Director and MIS Staff.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide general clerical and administrative assistance
  • Responsible for inventory tracking equipment/asset management
  • Assist with various projects
  • Maintain files and prepare reports
  • Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments
  • Prepare basic technical instructions and “how-tos”
  • Prepare and respond to correspondence
  • Order office supplies for staff, prepare purchase requisition forms
  • Cover phones, as necessary

Secondary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Other administrative tasks related to the management of the department

Training And Qualifications

  • 3-5 years AA experience, preferably supporting MIS/IT Departments and technical personnel
  • Experience with working with IT vendors and with technical writing preferred
  • Excellent MS Office skills required, especially Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience with asset management, tracking equipment inventory preferable
  • Excellent communication, clerical and organizational skills a must
  • Other experience using IT-related applications a plus
