To request assistance, call 212-426-3000 any business day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and ask to speak to the Community Development Project (CDP). The CDP attorney on screening will send you an intake form to complete if it appears that you might qualify for assistance. After the completed form is reviewed you will either be given an intake appointment or we will attempt to point you to other legal resources. After the intake appointment, the CDP staff will meet to decide whether or not to take your case. Most of our clients are located in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, but we accept cases of exceptional merit from throughout New York City.
